How to Make Container in Little Alchemy 2 (Step-by-Step Guide)

Little Alchemy 2” does a lot more than give players opportunities to explore basic elements and objects. It also provides options to explore concepts like big, small, and container

This article is a part of LifeRejoice’s step-by-step ‘how to’ guide series for making Elements in Little Alchemy 2. Click here to check out more Little Alchemy 2 Element guides.

You can’t make many of the concept-based elements in the game without achieving a certain level of progress. To make the Container element, you must have the complex Philosophy element:

1. Create Human Problem Solving

The first containers came into being because humans imagined objects that they could use for holding and transporting different things.

As a result, you must make the Idea element and then the Philosophy element to understand how to make and use containers

To create these concepts, you need the Human element. If you don’t already have it, combine the following:

  • Earth + Water = Mud
  • Air + Air = Pressure
  • Pressure + Earth = Stone
  • Mud + Stone = Clay

You also need the Life element. If you haven’t collected Life, combine:

  • Water + Water = Puddle
  • Puddle + Puddle = Pond
  • Pond + Pond = Lake
  • Lake + Lake = Sea
  • Earth + Sea = Primordial Soup
  • Fire + Fire = Energy
  • Primordial Soup + Energy = Life

It’s time to sculpt a human from clay!

The Human icon, a gold-colored person standing with arms outstretched inside of a golden circle, pops up with the words “The most dangerous game.”

Now that you have humans, you combine them with Ideas to make Philosophy. If you don’t have an Idea, make these combinations:

  • Earth + Earth = Land
  • Land + Land = Continent
  • Continent + Continent = Planet
  • Fire + Planet = Sun
  • Sun + Energy = Solar Cell
  • Solar Cell + Sun = Electricity
  • Stone + Air = Sand
  • Sand + Fire = Glass
  • Electricity + Glass = Light Bulb
  • Human + Lightbulb = Idea

The Idea icon, a human brain without a skull and a light bulb hovering above it pop up with the words “A thought given weight.”

The Philosophy icon, a large, white thought bubble, appears on the screen with the words “The study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence of poultry.”

2. Build a House to Contain Wonders

Homes are containers that hold people and objects. Many of the things inside of a home are also containers. The easiest way to make Container in the game is with the House element. If you don’t already have House, use the following element combinations:

  • Mud + Fire = Brick
  • Brick + Brick = Wall
  • Wall + Wall = House

The House icon, a yellow structure with a brown roof, teal front door, and the round window, pops up on the screen with the words “A building for people to live in, with an option for pets and/or ghosts.”

Now, all you need to do is combine House with Philosophy:

  • House + Philosophy = Container

The Container icon, an empty cube made of dashed lines, appears with the words “Something used for holding or transporting stuff, like a box or one’s mouth.”

You can also make a Container by combining Philosophy with Bottle, Box, Bucket, Pottery, or Safe. Yet, you can only make some of these elements, such as Bottle, Box, and Bucket, if you already have Container. With Pottery and Safe, you need to progress further in the game.

Why Does Container Matter in “Little Alchemy 2”?

If containers didn’t exist in the real world, life wouldn’t exist in any recognizable form. Early humans used caves as homes and protection against the elements and predators.

Throughout much of human history, humans relied on wooden buckets to carry water and dispose of waste. They also relied on honeycomb cells in beehives to contain honey and trees to hold beehives and bird nests filled with nutritious eggs.

From a more modern perspective, you couldn’t box up old decorations after the holidays or receive delivery boxes in the mail without the concept of containers.

Even the computer you’re using to read this post requires the concept of a container because computers are containers for programs.

The human body contains water and organs that it holds and transports and the universe contains everything within it.

These are some of the many reasons that Container matters.

“Little Alchemy 2” reveals a wide range of containers that people take for granted in their lives every day. Collect more than 70 unique elements by combining Container with the following:

The Container You Likely Missed…

At this time, you must find 720 default and 110 special elements to complete “Little Alchemy 2.” Container is one of the few elements that gives you so many opportunities to reach that goal.

Yet, you’re not done exploring the idea of a container after you make all of the above.

Unless you had a moment of out-of-the-box thinking while reading this post, you probably didn’t realize…

The game is a container!

It’s holding the elements you’ve collected and the ones you have yet to find.
